Dear Elevate Family,
June 2019 is my 10th year as Senior Pastor of Elevate
Church. Through the years, it has been evident
that God’s hand has been upon us and we have
experienced tremendous growth. Last year alone,
we baptized 98 people and saw many come to faith in
Christ. We are in the middle of some amazing times,
but now is the time to look into the future.
We must position ourselves to continue to be obedient
to the call of reaching people for Jesus. In 2016, we
began a journey to build an 800 seat worship center
in order to continue to expand God’s kingdom. Now
is the time to finish what we started. It’s time to build
a new home!
Our mutual sacrifices will result in transformed
lives for generations to come. Our goal is for Christ
to be elevated in our community long after we are
gone.
Right here, right now, we have an opportunity to do
this together... TO SEE CHRIST ELEVATED!

When the Tabernacle was built in Exodus 35, the people gave all they had to build the house of God. Join us in this movement to continue building on the blessings and opportunities God has given us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
WOULD IT BE HELPFUL TO FULFILL MY CAMPAIGN PLEDGES AND GIFTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE?
Yes! The Campaign is an 18 month commitment. However, the sooner the funds are raised, the easier it will be for our church to budget and pay for expenditures accordingly.
WILL I RECEIVE A TAX CREDIT FOR MY DONATION?
Yes, all gifts are 100% tax deductible. If you would like to donate stocks or other assets, please contact the Elevate Church office to make arrangments.
WHEN SHOULD WE EXPECT TO MOVE INTO OUR NEW WORSHIP CENTER?
Just like any construction project, it is impossible to give an exact date. However, our preliminary goal is to move into our new Worship Center sometime late 2020.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE "THIS IS HOME" CAMPAIGN?
"This Is Home" will run for 18 months, starting in June 2019 and will end December 2020.
WHAT ARE THE TOTAL FUNDS NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT?
The total project will cost about $4.2 million to build our new Worship Center. "This Is Home" is a plan to raise $500,000 through Elevate Church members and attendees between Jun 2019 - Dec 2020 for the interior furnishings and equipment. The Florida Baptist Convention will then loan our church about $3.5 million.
WHAT ARE WE BUILDING IN THIS PROJECT?
The master plan consists of a 16,000 square foot Worship Center with a seating capacity of 800 adults to be used for church services and large events. It will include ample parking spaces for over 200 vehicles.
WHY ARE WE LAUNCHING THIS CAMPAIGN?
To construct a Worship Center that Elevate Church will use to better serve our community. Miami Lakes has over 30,000 residents for us to serve, and with the growth in membership our church has seen in the past years, it is clear that even with the multiple services we currently offer, our church needs room to grow. "This Is Home," will focus on the interior furnishings of our new building.
Yes. This campaign is designed to raise $500,000. above our normal operating budget. Moving tithes from the general church fund to the "This is Home" Campaign will considerably impede our church from operating as usual and funding our ministries throughout the year.
IS MY COMMITMENT TO THE CAMPAIGN IN ADDITION TO MY NORMAL THING?
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO ENSURE THAT I FULFILL MY COMMITMENT?
We recommend that each person pray about his or her own commitment to the Campaign. You may make a Pledge and budget your commitment on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Participation and consistency goes a long way. You will be surprised how God may work through you with this method of giving.
